Private universities will enable those who miss uni entrance by a few marks to get an education in Sri Lanka. It will save them money. It will protect foreign reserves.Yes. Private education must maintain standards. But then again when we see the state uni med students it is clear the state universities have not much standards!JVP- very disappointing that you are playing politics! Be principled! Promote private education along with state supervision and standards!
