Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) for three-day visit a short while ago in a bid to expand bilateral trade relations between the two countries.
The Indian Minister would hold a meeting with International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrema and other officials to discuss issues of bilateral trade between the two countries.
Minister Samarawickrema visited India in July and met Sitharaman where they reviewed the progress on the proposed ETCA between Sri Lanka and India. (T.K.G. Kapila)
