Duminda appeals against his death sentence

Duminda Silva, convicted on charges of murdering Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and sentenced to death, today filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against the sentence imposed by the High Court, President's Counsel Anil Silva, who filed the application on behalf of the convict, told Daily Mirror.(Shehan Chamika Silva)

Irrespective of you appeal or not you will have to spend rest of your life in Prison. Now you have no Judicial and political support anymore. Your supporters will never see power again. Please remember you have some more cases pending with drugs etc where you will be sentenced to death again and again.

hah, how is the plan, Part no 2 : he was released on bail.Part no 2: he was serenely warned by the judge, lifted all allegations on him and send home free with presidential pardon.
