Prime Minster Ranil Wickremesinghe, yesterday, in Parliament, agreed to allow the Janatha Vimukthi Peramun (JVP) to move an amendment to the Office of Missing Persons Act later.
JVP MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who is also the Chief Opposition Whip, said his party had moved three amendments but only two had been incorporated.
The prime minister said the remaining one could be brought in as a fresh legislation to be incorporated into the original one. (Kelum Bandara and Yohan Perera)
