    fishy Tuesday, 28 June 2016 01:57 PM

something fishy going on there ......; otherwise why should migration officers worry ....

    BuffaloaCitizen Tuesday, 28 June 2016 01:59 PM

CCTV cameras are part and parcel of a good security system especially at airports. Highly suspicious as to why Immigration Officers need to protest on such a activity.

    Vernon Tuesday, 28 June 2016 02:00 PM

If immigration and customs officers protest for establishing CCTV, then there can only be one reason, which is quite obvious to all.

    Dumbo Tuesday, 28 June 2016 02:06 PM

What a shameless protest ! Disciplinary action should be taken against these officers. How can anyone protest against CCTV cameras being installed ? They are admitting that they are crooked !

    Anuruddha Tuesday, 28 June 2016 02:09 PM

I am a frequent traveler and I know the way our Immigration officers work.. what's the problem with CCTV, is it because they are exposed..??

NV Jen Tuesday, 28 June 2016 08:10 PM

    Terminate these unscrupulous officers

    siri Wednesday, 29 June 2016 12:45 PM

The most rude and arrogant brutes in SL Govt Service. Think no end of themselves with their uniform on, paid by simple citizens. Must be lots to hide. Why object CCTV otherwise?

    usuf Wednesday, 29 June 2016 02:44 PM

all these corrupt officers shud be taken into custody for disobedience. What damn right do they have to protest via DM Android App

    Ranjith G Wednesday, 29 June 2016 02:50 PM

Why should those who are employed by Immigration Dept. worry about action of Airports Authority to enhance the security of the airport.Unless o fcourse they feel that their wrongdoings would be exposed!

    RA Wednesday, 29 June 2016 04:10 PM

At the entry point to the country majority of the Immigration Officers who man the counters at the Airport do not greet or smile. The foreigners who are invited or attracted to the Country inuring huge costs under tourist promotion drives have to look at blank faces rather than any welcome sign.Government cannot give into these officers jeopardizing the security and financial interests of the Country. They have never been pleasant at any time but rude faces all the time and they never want to accept passengers rather like to pass the passengers to next counter. Even a small shop in the street has fixed CCTV camera these days as we are in most sophisticated world and should have fixed CCTV camera a long time before specially in place like Airport. I'am surprised to see the protest.!
