Former Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena was hospitalised after being injured during a protest launched by the Joint Opposition against the re-appointment of Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran.
Mr. Abeygunawardena was admitted to a private hospital in Colombo.
Around twenty Opposition Parliamentarians participated at the protest. Pix by Nisal Baduge
