A man rides a bicycle in Colombo on March 16 during a power cut. Despite the government’s assurance that power supply would be normalized from yesterday (17th), power cuts were experienced in many parts of the island yesterday. On March 16, trading at Colombo bourse was interrupted by power cuts. According to analysts, the most impacted would be the country’s small and medium businesses, which consists of more than 70 percent of Sri Lanka’s economy.
