Kamburupitiye Harsha, the underworld gangster who was critically injured when shot at by two gunmen who arrived on a motorcycle, succumbed to his injuries at the National Hospital a short while ago, Hospital sources said.

The victim was inside his home at Obeysekarapura in Welikada when the shooting took place, Police said and added that the motorcyclists were wearing face-covered helmets.

A person should be arrested according to the law. All these criminals survive due to political patronage or connections with corrupt police and armed forces entities. If those influences are removed, these criminals will certainly be in jail.
