Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya today noticed MP Wimal Weerawansa and seven others to appear in Court on March 18 for obstructing the Bauddhaloka Mawatha and the Havelock Road during a protest campaign on February 6, 2016.
A group of people including Mr. Weerawansa held the protest campaign outside the UN Office at Thunmulla Junction against the visit of United Nations Human Rights High Commissioner Prince Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein.(Shehan Chamika Silva)

Well done, this fellows monkey antics should be curtailed. The UN Chiefs visit was on an invitation by GOSL and thus no one has the right to obstruct that. If one has to protest, it needs to be against the GOSL for inviting.
