A number of professional bodies in the country yesterday organized a protest march in Colombo against the proposed Economic, Technical and Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) Sri Lanka scheduled to enter with India in June this year. The agreement is expected to gradually open up the services sectors of both countries. As a start, it is proposed to allow the free flow of IT and shipyard professionals between the two countries. A framework agreement to ETCA is to be signed this month
