Joint Opposition signs petition against war crimes court

A number of Joint Opposition MPs today signed a petition prepared by the National Movement to Protect War Heroes against what it describes as an International War Crime Court to ‘hunt down’ soldiers. The signature campaign was held outside Parliament Complex in Battaramulla. MPs Dinesh Gunawardena, Bandula Gunawardane, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Kumara Welgama, Gamini Lokuge, Janaka Bandara Tennakoon and Rohitha Abeygunawardena were among the MPs who signed the petition.

It is better form a formula how to do the war in order to avoid mistakes in the war. A discipline war!

There are Lot of great souls but few cowards and individuals without commonsense or reason. Using war as excuses they harmed many a innocent souls who cannot seek justice. We need proper justice for these individuals a court called wartime court is needed as these crimes committed under the pretext of war

These guys are making a big commotion to safeguard themselves from the fraud and corruptions that they have committed. If anybody has taken the law into his hands and done any crime, surely, they should be punished. When MR made secret deals with Tiger leader, where were these so called patriotic group? This clearly shows the double standard these desperate people are showing.
