E01 earns Rs.16mn in 24 hrs

The Southern Expressway earned a record breaking income of Rs. 16 million during the last 24 hours, Highways and Higher Education Ministry said.

It said the usual income of the E01 within 24 hours was only Rs.11 million.

“More than 50,000 vehicles used the Expressway because of school vacation and the long weekend yesterday. A long queue was also seen at the Godagama Entrance yesterday,” it said. (Diana Udayangani, Reka Tharangani)

what about fixing light posts in marine drive? And ofcourse people use headlights at night, but a light posts gives you better lighting. Why dont u tell the rogues in the parliament and to the supporters like you to fix your damn heads? after all we pay high taxes and we expect safety of the people atleast!
